I'm opening a small nail salon. Which is best way of opening a business account for my business. Should I open it strictly under my name or get a DBA. I just wanted to know which way would be easier for taxes?
ANSWER
The BIDaWIZ Team's Answer:
Taxes really have nothing to do with filing for a DBA. You can register a DBA and still file as a sole proprietorship. You would report your business income on Schedule C of your form 1040.
