I'm covered by my domestic partner's health insurance plan with her employer. From what I understand, the benefits I receive are taxed when she receives her paycheck. However, I'm wondering if I owe any taxes as I'm receiving a benefit or are the additional taxes she is paying covering it?
ANSWER
Expert Joseph Caplan's Answer:
No, you will not be taxed for such benefits as your partner was already taxed.
