I have a 401K through my employer. My annual income is 250, 000. I contribute the max each year (16,500 this year). My wife just went back to work as a teacher and they offer a 403B. The 403B limit is 16,500. Can she contribute even though I have a 401K?
ANSWER
The BIDaWIZ Team's Answer:
Yes: she is allowed to "max out" her contibutions, to her retirement plan; if she
so elects; regardless of whether you contribute to your retirement fund.
